We offer a no-obligation trial lesson for new players (subject to availability). If the trial goes well, you’ll be added to the rest of the term and invoiced accordingly.

Yes! We run holiday clinics and camps during the school holidays, giving players the chance to improve their skills in a fun, relaxed environment.

Absolutely! We welcome beginners of all ages. Our programs are designed to help new players build confidence and improve at their own pace.

Comfortable sports shoes, a hat, water bottle, and a racquet. Don’t have a racquet? No worries—we have spares available to borrow at no cost! We also provide the option to purchase children’s racquets with your online registration. Tennis-specific attire is not required.

Our junior programs are initially determined by age. Once your child is enrolled and has started, our coaches will assess their skills to ensure they’re in the right group. If needed, they may suggest moving to a different group that better matches skill levels.

Class sizes vary depending on the program. Our HotShots programs have a maximum ratio of 1:4 for Hot Shots Blue (age 4-6) and 1:6 for all other HotShots programs.

We create a safe, supportive environment for all players. If your child is able to learn and participate independently, they’re ready!

All players are expected to participate in their lessons without parent involvement. We understand young players will need parent assistance from time to time but your child should be capable of completing majority of the lesson without parent assistance.

If you’re unsure, contact us—we’re happy to help.

If weather conditions are extreme, we may need to modify the HotShots program indoors. For squad programs, players can still train in wet weather gear. If weather is too extreme to proceed, coaches will contact you 30 minutes prior to the lesson to confirm & a credit voucher will be issued at the end of the term to cover the cancellation.

Unfortunately, no. We have confirmed with the Department of Sport and Recreation that Tennis Excellence is not eligible to participate in the scheme.
